Columbus: Four Way Books & Friends Fall 2017 Launch Reading

Join us at Book Culture on Columbus on Wednesday, September 27th at 7:00pm for a reading with Four Way Books, showcasing the work of Maggie Anderson (Dear All,), Cornelius Eady (Hardheaded Weather), Miranda Field (Imaginary Royalty), and Panio Gianopoulos (How to Get into Our House and Where We Keep the Money)


Maggie Anderson is the author of Dear All, published by Four Way Books and four previous books of poetry including Windfall: New and Selected PoemsA Space Filled with Moving, and Cold Comfort. She has received various fellowships including two from the National Endowment for the Arts. Anderson is Professor Emerita of English at Kent State University and now lives in Asheville, North Carolina. 

Cornelius Eady is the author of several books of poetry, including the critically acclaimed Hardheaded Weather, which was nominated for an NAACP Image Award, Victims of the Latest Dance Craze, winner of the 1985 Lamont Prize from the Academy of American Poets, and The Gathering of My Name, which was nominated for the 1992 Pulitzer Prize. With poet Toi Derricote, Eady is cofounder of Cave Canem, a national organization for African American poetry and poets. He is the recipient of an NEA Fellowship in Literature, a John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship in Poetry, a Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship to Bellagio, Italy, and The Prairie Schooner Strousse Award.

Miranda Field was born in North London, UK and came to the US as an undergraduate. She currently lives in New York City. Married to poet Tom Thompson, with whom she has two children, she teaches poetry (and occasionally fiction) at NYU, Barnard, the New School, and in individual sessions, privately. Her first book of poems, Swallow, was published by Houghton Mifflin in 2002 and her second book, Imaginary Royalty, was published by Four Way Books in 2017.

Panio Gianopoulos is the author of the novella, A Familiar Beast and the story collection How to Get into Our House and Where We Keep the Money (Four Way Books 2017). His writing has appeared in Tin HouseNorthwest ReviewSalonChicago Quarterly ReviewBrooklyn RailBig Fiction, and elsewhere; he is the recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship for nonfiction literature. He received his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and his M.B.A. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. Currently the Editorial Director of Heleo, Panio Gianopoulos lives with his family in New York.
