Join us on Thursday, November 16th at 7pm as Harper's Magazine and Book Culture on Columbus present Jessica Bruder, author of Nomadland, in conversation with Barbara Ehrenreich, author of Nickel and Dimed.


Jessica Bruder is an award-winning journalist whose work focuses on subcultures and the dark corners of the economy. She has written for Harper's, the New York Times, and the Washington Post. Bruder teaches at the Columbia School of Journalism.

Barbara Ehrenreich is the bestselling author of several books including Nickel and Dimed, Bait and Switch, Bright-sided, This Land Is Their Land, Dancing In The Streets and Blood Rites. A frequent contributor to Harper's and The Nation, she has also been a columnist at The New York Times and Time magazine.
