Harper's Magazine Presents an Evening with Robert Harris
On Tuesday, January 23rd at 7pm, join Harper's Magazine and Book Culture on Columbus for a reading and discussion with Robert Harris. The internationally best-selling author of Fatherland and the Cicero Trilogy will present his latest novel Munich, a new spy thriller about treason and conscience, loyalty and betrayal, set against the backdrop of the fateful Munich Conference of September 1938. Actual events of historical importance—featuing Hitler, Chamberlain, Mussolini, Daladier—are at the heart of an electrifying, unputdownable novel.
As a ticketed event, Book Culture on Columbus will close at 6:45pm

Robert Harris is the author of eleven novels: Fatherland, Enigma, Archangel, Pompeii, Imperium, The Ghost Writer, Conspirata, The Fear Index, An Officer and a Spy, Dictator, and Conclave. Several of his books have been adapted to film, most recently The Ghost Writer. His work has been translated into thirty-seven languages. He lives in the village of Kintbury, England, with his wife, Gill Hornby.
