112th: David Moscovich on "Life+70[Redacted]"

Join us Tuesday, October 11th at 7pm for the launch of LIFE+70[Redacted], the new work by David Moscovich

LIFE+70[Redacted] by David Moscovich is the print version of the single most expensive literary e-book to ever be hacked. It is both the e-book and the story behind the e-book which retailed for US$249,999.99 before the one and only copy was illegally obtained in September of 2014. LIFE+70[Redacted] includes details of the correspondence which Moscovich recorded with the cyberattacker.

Guest writers to read at the celebration include Erika Anderson, Chantal Clarke, Sean Denmark, Ryan Dzelzkalns, Edwin Alanis García, and Paco Marquez.

The hacker was invited to join in the festivities in New York. There was no immediate response. 

Copies of LIFE+70[Redacted], published by Lit Fest Press (Chicago, IL), will be available at the book launch October 11. 

David Moscovich is the Romanian-American author of You Are Make Very Important Bathtime (JEF Books, Chicago, IL) and LIFE+70[Redacted], a print version of the single most expensive literary e-book to ever be hacked. Recipient of fellowships from New York University, Teachers and Writers Collective, and sponsorship from the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), he holds an MFA in Fiction from NYU and is editor and publisher of Louffa Press, a micro-press dedicated to printing innovative fiction in collectible, handprinted chapbooks and ephemera. He lives in New York City.
