LIC: Dream Work with Alyssa Bonilla
Join Book Culture LIC on Thursday, January 9th at 6:30pm as we welcome author Alyssa Bonilla. Alyssa will read from her new book, Arana and the Mother Tree, and lead a short dream work session to help nourish our deepest selves in these challenging times. Dream work is a potent tool to develop our relationship with symbolic thought, the language of life. Bring your dreams and experiences of nature to share with the group, or come to listen to and support the stories of others.
Suitable for ages 8 years old and up.
Alyssa Bonilla has been doing dream work for over twenty-five years. She is the author of visionary fiction novels for middle grade readers, and teaches college in New York City. Ms. Bonilla is the winner of a Queens Council for the Arts literary arts grant for Arana & the Mother Tree, sequel to Arana & the Black Dog.
