Can you ship to prisons?
We can, but prisons have very strict rules and they vary widely from institution to institution. If you want to ship books to a prison, you'll need to verify with the prison that you have the correct address format and learn their mail restrictions. If there are any special requirements that we need to be aware of when shipping, you need to let us know. We aren't responsible if the package is rejected.
How can I check my Gift Card or Gift Code balance?
If you have a physical Gift Card, you'll need to visit, call, or email one of our stores to check the balance. Please see our Locations page for contact info and addresses.
If you have an Online Gift Code, you can check the balance on our Online Gift Code : Balance / Transaction History page.
Can you ship internationally?
In general, we can ship internationally, but our website isn't currently set up to calculate the shipping for international orders. Because of this, international orders need to be placed via phone or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and that way we can calculate the cost of shipping and give you that quote before charging it, to make sure it's ok. (International shipping can be quite pricey.)
We use USPS First Class or USPS Priority methods to ship internationally. First Class is cheaper, but only supports shipments up to 4 lbs (one to four books usually, depending on the books) and is slower and less reliable (there's no guaranteed delivery time frame). We strongly encourage customers to opt for the Priority shipping since it's faster and more reliable (6-10 business days to most countries).
