How can I check my Gift Card or Gift Code balance?
If you have a physical Gift Card, you'll need to visit, call, or email one of our stores to check the balance. Please see our Locations page for contact info and addresses.
If you have an Online Gift Code, you can check the balance on our Online Gift Code : Balance / Transaction History page.
I'm having issues with using my Gift Code to check out.
Unfortunately the gift code check out process can be a bit confusing (we're trying to improve it, but we haven't gotten there yet).
In order to check out with a gift code, please be sure you're not trying to put it in the "Coupon code" box. Instead, in the Payment Method section, select Online Only Gift code and a box will appear to put it in. After you enter the code, be sure to check the Check Gift Code Balance To Continue box below the code, otherwise your checkout will not be successful.
Following those notes should clear things up for you, but if there is still a problem, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Shipping Help
Can you ship to prisons?
We can, but prisons have very strict rules and they vary widely from institution to institution. If you want to ship books to a prison, you'll need to verify with the prison that you have the correct address format and learn their mail restrictions. If there are any special requirements that we need to be aware of when shipping, you need to let us know. We aren't responsible if the package is rejected.
Can you ship internationally?
We are not able to ship internationally at this time. Our site will technically let you check out with an international shipping address, but your order will be canceled when we process it, since we're not able to ship internationally. We apologize for the inconvenience.
